Transitional Gymnastics Classes
Ages: 2 – 3 years old
Our Transition Class is available to children who are almost 3 years old and almost ready to participate in our Kids Progressive classes. This class helps facilitate a smooth transition between the Tumble Tots and Kids Progressive programs. The Transition Class helps students develop social skills, such as taking turns, and learning to participate in gymnastics class without the assistance of their parent.
The Parents Role In The Transition Class
Parents should expect to stay only close and involved enough for their children to feel safe and comfortable to participate. Parents should refrain from taking on the role of teacher (as they did in our Tumble Tots classes) and instead remain involved as little as possible and only reinforce to their child listen to the teacher.
