This is why we don’t post our class schedule on line, print it out, or allow on-line registrations….

Since 1985 we have operated differently from most kids gyms. At Fun & Fit we put kids first by evaluating every child prior to accepting their enrollment to make sure the class is just right for them. To have a fun, safe and successful experience they really need to be with age and ability peers. We don’t print and send schedules for two reasons:

1. Schedules become obsolete almost the day after printing (classes fill, new classes are added or change in level as kids learn), and
2. Parents want schedules usually to find the most convenient class for their kids.

We understand this, but we have learned that once a parent appreciates how learning gymnastics works, convenience usually is no longer most important.

We believe the person most qualified to make the class enrollment decision is the instructor working with your child during the trial lesson. Delaying the enrollment until after the trial lesson costs us more than if we accepted your tuition over the phone or the internet. With a lifetime of experience in this business, I firmly believe that what sets us apart is delivering the very best possible service to our students. COMPLIMENTRY PRE-ENROLLMENT EVALUATIONS: Because we only enroll children in classes with age and ability peers, we want to evaluate them first. If they are under the age of 6 we evaluate them in their first trial class with beginners their same age. If they are 6 or older we take the time, at our expense, to provide a personal evaluation prior to their first class so we can prescribe for them the most appropriate class to fit their needs. Following the trial lesson the instructor speaks with the parent and, if the trial is successful, the instructor authorizes the enrollment. If not, the instructor recommends another class to try and, of course, there is no charge for the additional trial.

Looking for our class schedule? You are probably doing so to find a convenient class to schedule a make-up lesson or to add a second or third weekly class at the same level your child is currently attending. Please understand that, as the kids learn skills, the level of our classes evolve and change, and the schedule has to be constantly updated to reflect these changes. Often, classes with space become full when others book make-ups, and we need to make sure we don’t overbook our classes. Also, the age of the students is an important consideration when scheduling a make-up class. For example, we have level 2 classes for 6 year old girls and for 13 year old girls. They are learning the same skills, but the way the class is taught can be very different.

For these reasons, we believe the best way to make sure the make-up lesson is in the appropriate class is to contact our office and let our Customer Service staff help you. We realize this may not be the most convenient way to schedule your make-up, and it actually costs the business more to provide real people to help you instead of making you handle things online. But, this is how we prefer to do business with our Member families so we can get to know you and best provide for your needs.
